POPIA Compliant Voice AI for South Africa

Consent capture, recording disclosure, data minimisation and South African data handling are built into every Jobix call by default.

Consent and disclosure on every call

POPIA requires a lawful basis for processing personal information and clear notice when a call is recorded. Every Jobix call opens with a recording disclosure, captures the consent response as a structured field rather than a note, and stops processing when the caller objects. The consent record is retrievable per contact for audit.

Data minimisation and retention

Agents collect only the fields the workflow needs, and retention windows are configurable per data type, so transcripts, recordings and derived fields can expire on different schedules. Deletion requests remove the record across transcripts, recordings and CRM sync rather than only the primary row.

What an information officer will ask for

The audit pack covers the lawful basis per campaign, the consent script used, retention settings, sub-processor list, and the log of access and deletion requests. Enterprise deployments can restrict which operators may replay recordings and export data.
